At her school, she takes health related classes and science classes, as she is  interested in the medical field. She is also an avid member of HOSA, a health related club at school. Outside of school, Snisha is  an active member of Vibha, a non-profit organization which helps countries in poverty provide education to children. The reason she chose to initiate Gen-Clean with her fellow peers is because she has noticed that many under served children that are in need of basic necessities like hygiene products can’t afford to get them. She wanted to have a purpose in her life and help those less fortunate. As a member of this organization, Snisha hopes to make a positive change in the community and she looks forward to contributing her time to help make a healthier generation!

In school, she is  part of various clubs such as HOSA, which helps and serves in the health sciences field, and Leo Club, which is another service organization. The reason she wanted to be a part of the creation of gen-clean was because she felt like we weren’t doing enough to give back to our community. Riya believes that there are so many children and young adults that need help getting basic sanitation products and there aren’t enough people trying to help. As a part of this organization Riya is looking forward to bettering our community and helping those who need it most while promoting a healthier generation!
